- FEATURES: Dwarf deciduous shrub has arching
branches. Bright red-purple finely-cut leaves hold
their color all summer. Leaves turn scarlet in fall
before dropping off.
EXPOSURE: Prefers filtered or indirect sun.
SOIL TYPE: Prefers well-drained, moist soil.
(L MATURE SIZE: Grows to 6' tall and wide.
D GROWTH RATE: Slow growing.
* HARDINESS: Zone 5, -20° to -10°F (-29° to -23°C).
WATERING: Regular water use. After plant is
established, it is best to water deeply, and less
frequently.
NP FERTILIZER: Feed with a general purpose fertilizer
