Height Varies by type. Tallest varieties are are up 5 to 6 feet tall, most average 3 to 4 feet tall with a spread of 2 feet. Dwarf varieties, grow 1 to 2-feet tall and 12 to 18 inches wide.

Require 6 to 8 hours of sun a day, and gentle morning and early afternoon sun is preferred. The roots need cool, moist shade.
