Ivory Silk Lilac

* FEATURES: Japanese tree lilac. Abundance of ivory

white flowerheads with privet-like fragrance. Dark

green leaves. Cherry-like bark. One of the most

trouble-free lilacs.

% BLOOM TIME: Late spring to early summer.

• EXPOSURE: Prefers full sun.

« SOIL TYPE: Prefers well-drained, loose, rich soil.

• WATERING: Moderate water use. After plant is

established, it is best to water deeply, and less

frequently.

NP FERTILIZER: Frequent, light applications are

better than heavy doses. Apply around the

"drip line" of a plant following package

directions. The drip line is under outermost

branch tips and contains feeder roots.

% PRUNING: Prune after flowering if desired.
